Artist Profile: Mira Grimm

Mira Grimm is a 16 year old professional musician, multi-instrumentalist, and singer/songwriter. She plays a wide range of blues, Americana, and finger style guitar. Mira’s songwriting has been described as “prolific” and compared to artists such as Bonnie Raitt, Bob Dylan and Paul McCartney. Mira writes about her mental health struggles, her goal is to help people relate to something, and show everyone that they’re not alone. Music runs her family. With her dad being the drummer for the international blues band “Savoy Brown” she has had a strong connection with music her whole life. Mira started singing and playing instruments when she was just 7 years old. You can see mira performing solo or with her new band “Mira Grimm and The Reapers” that first got its start at the NYS Blues Fest as “Blues Ignition”.
