Colin Aberdeen & Max Eyle (Syracuse, NY)

Colin Aberdeen is a vocalist and guitar player specializing in blues, soul, ragtime, and a variety of other American roots traditions. An Australian citizen, he has lived the past few decades in Syracuse, NY. He has recorded with Grammy award winning artists, toured nationally, and received a number of local awards including a SAMMY (Syracuse Area Music Award). Since 2014, Max has regularly accompanied him on the harmonica. The two often break beyond the blues format and performing material not often attempted by duo performers, particularly on the harmonica. For the last two years, they were selected to open the show for the New York State Blues Festival fundraiser – a privilege they were honored to accept from the community they serve.
