This show is a fundraiser for the NYS Blues Festival!

Doors open at 7:00pm and Mike Zito will take the stage at 8:00pm. Must be 18 to enter, 21 to drink. For more information, please email events@nysbluesfest.com.

Blues Music award winner Mike Zito is one of those rare artists who can sing like nobody’s business, pen songs that instantly grip you, play a mean Gulf Coast style guitar, plus he has the stage presence to draw in his audience to boot.

Zito’s most recent release, “Songs From The Road” captures the push and pull between Mike and his all-star lineup of Jimmy Carpenter (sax/vocals), Scot Sutherland (bass/vocals), Lewis Stephens (piano/organ) and Rob Lee (drums/percussion). “There’s just something in me,” says the bandleader (and Royal Southern Brotherhood co-founder), “It’s there in all musicians. You gotta love the road to be a part of this world. You’re right there, looking in people’s eyes, swapping stories, shaking hands…” White-hot chemistry meets world-class material on Songs From The Road, whose set list dips into pivotal moments from Mike’s storied past.
